Four films introduce Adaptive Subgoal Search (AdaSubS), Individual Cryptography, Active Visual Exploration Based on Attention-Map Entropy and the team researching algorithms for autonomous UAVs. Each focuses on a specific method or research direction.
A film can accompany a research paper, conference presentation or partner discussion, introducing the subject before the technical detail.
AI After Hours
Nine short interviews and one introduction feature Peter Davies, Krzysztof Onak, Uzi Vishkin, Jakub Łącki, John Owens, Piotr Sankowski, Simone Scardapane, Fabrizio Silvestri and Stefano Leonardi. The Q&A format introduces the people behind the research, their perspectives and interests.

IDEAS NCBR video case study. Frequently asked questions.
Clear answers about the project, production process and using video in marketing and sales.
What did Rek House produce for IDEAS NCBR?+
The collaboration included brand films, research explainers, short scientist interviews, podcasts and event coverage. This case study features 19 videos from the Rek House playlist and, separately, the “Szerszy kontekst AI” podcast. The playlist is a selection, not a complete record of more than three years of collaboration.
How can a short film explain complex AI research?+
Start with a specific question, method or research problem. Together with the expert, we establish what the audience needs to understand, then select the interview content and visuals. IDEAS NCBR films cover subjects including Adaptive Subgoal Search, cryptography, computer vision and algorithms for autonomous UAVs.
What was the “AI After Hours” series?+
Short conversations introducing researchers, their perspectives and interests. The featured playlist contains nine interviews and one introductory video. Contributors include Piotr Sankowski, Krzysztof Onak, Uzi Vishkin, Simone Scardapane and Fabrizio Silvestri.
Which event videos are available in the case study?+
The player includes a team-building film, the inauguration of the doctoral year and a nearly 25-minute conversation with Sam Altman hosted by IDEAS NCBR. Short coverage captures the atmosphere and key moments, while a longer recording opens up the discussion to people who could not attend.
How can a research organisation use this kind of video library?+
Films can support partner introductions, communication around research papers, conferences, recruitment and regular social publishing. Each format should have a defined audience and purpose: explain research, introduce an expert, show the team or share knowledge from an event.
Is the “Szerszy kontekst AI” podcast included in this playlist?+
No. The podcast is a separate format with its own Spotify player tab. The 19-video count refers only to the specified YouTube playlist. Visitors can browse the video productions and longer podcast conversations separately.
How can I browse every video in a category?+
Choose a category above the player, such as “AI research” or “AI After Hours”. Thumbnails with titles and durations appear below it. Play a video on the page or open it on YouTube. A complete title list is also available below the format descriptions.
How can a research institution start a similar video collaboration?+
Start with the topics, audiences and planned publishing channels. We then agree expert availability, the factual review process, formats, schedule and budget. An ongoing collaboration can combine research films, expert interviews and event coverage in one production plan.
